So I want to tell you about the most underrated, underestimated, criminally overlooked form of exercise on the freaking planet. And it requires zero equipment, zero gym membership, and zero experience. It is a brisk 30 minute walk. And before you say that's it, hear me out. We live in a fitness culture that has convinced us that if we're not sweating buckets and barely surviving a workout, it doesn't count. That movement only matters if it's intense, structured, and slightly miserable. And because of that belief, so many of us do nothing because the bar feels impossibly high. But the research on walking, consistent, brisk daily walking is genuinely stunning. Thirty minutes a day reduces your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, cognitive decline, and depression. It supports bone density, which becomes critically important for women after 40. It regulates cortisol, your stress hormone, better than almost any other accessible form of movement.
